Hello! I'm Lesley, a multidisciplinary artist and animation student based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My work moves between traditional art, soundscapes, experimental film, and photography, often blending these forms to explore the relationship between texture, rhythm, and emotion.
I'm drawn to the small details that often go unnoticed —the hum of sound, the shifting of light, or the rhythm of movement — and how these can be transformed into moments of reflection through visual and sonic storytelling. Each piece I create is a conversation between sound and image, inviting viewers to experience the subtle tension between the familiar and the abstract.
I'm currently pursuing my BA in Animation at the University of New Mexico, where I continue to experiment with both analog and digital techniques to expand my creative practice.
When I'm not working on a project, you'll likely find me tending to my garden, reading, or experimenting with sounds and textures. I'm always open to collaboration and love connecting with other artists, animators, and storytellers who are curious about spaces where art, sound, and motion meet.
